Faith, Hope & Love

Those are the three things the "Bishop of Baghdad" Canon Andrew White spoke about tonight (at The River). He has an amazing testimony of his life leading the largest Christian church in Baghdad, Iraq (a predominantly Muslim nation). Death threats, bombings, his staff and people being killed or kidnapped, it's simply amazing how he lives every moment for God and for souls. It was a great night but the "icing" was when he busted out an old old old Bible that belonged to none other than Smith Wigglesworth and I got to HOLD IT!!!! HOLY COW!!!! What an awesome moment! Both Carrie and I agreed that you could still feel the anointing on it! Just wow. How did he come to possess it? Andrew White's grandfather was Smith Wiggleworth's assistant and Smith passed it to him, and he passed it to his grandson, Andrew. Awesome night!
