Mom had an MRI on Thursday, May 19th around 11:45am to see if there was cancer anywhere else. She was told to expect the results in 2-3 days but she called me around 7pm that night and said she had just gotten off the phone with the doctor and was given the results because he received them by fax. Not gonna lie, in a split second my first thought was, "Oh no, he called the same day, that's never good," followed by, "No, God is faithful and I believe Him no matter what." Mom proceeded to tell me that they found NO cancer anywhere else. PRAISE GOD! We sent an email out to a few select people we KNEW could pray in faith (Madge, Lisa, Joan, Pastors Ray & Carol, Pastor Kyle and Max & Jill) so this was definitely an answer to prayer. I'm still praying and believing the prayer that Tim S. prayed at prayer (per Aunt Melanie) that "Mom's body would reject the cancerous cells." Side note: this is the kind of stuff I miss about GNFWC.
Anyway, Mom is going to have surgery next week to remove the lump and probably go through a few rounds of radiation to the area. I'm believing God that this will NOT go any further. In Jesus' Name.
